We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to assist with all aspects of the recruitment and selection process within accounting search assignments. The Senior Recruitment Consultant will liaise with senior HR and finance personnel, have knowledge of accounting roles and responsibilities, as well as an innate ability to understand people and their skill fit within an organizational setting. This position will work within a strong team of motivated, driven professionals in a high growth company.


What You’ll Be Doing:


  • Discover Top Talent – Proactively identify and connect with high-performing candidates, building strong talent pipelines.
  • Engage & Assess – Conduct prescreening, interviews, and assessments to match candidates with the right opportunities.
  • Curate the Best – Utilize database searches and sourcing strategies to develop shortlists of exceptional candidates.
  • Support the Hiring Process – Prepare offer letters, placement documents, and professional correspondence to support smooth hiring processes.
  • Build Relationships – Foster meaningful connections with both clients and candidates, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience.
  • Offer Strategic Guidance – Address client and candidate inquiries with expertise and professionalism.
  • Drive Growth – Contribute to business development initiatives that expand our reach and impact.
  • Stay Connected – Attend industry events, seminars, and conferences to stay ahead of trends and grow your network.
  • Make an Impact – Support marketing efforts and give back to the community through volunteering initiatives.


Requirements:


  • Completed university degree or diploma in business, accounting or language arts
  • HR certificate is considered an asset
  • 5+ years’ Recruitment Consultant level experience
  • Familiar with basic accounting concepts and prior experience in an accounting support role are considered strong assets
  • Solid understanding of recruiting and human resources professional standards


Working in a close, team environment, you bring enthusiasm and passion for the recruitment industry, as well as the proven flexibility to take on new tasks and manage priorities. As the ideal candidate, you excel in a client service environment, enjoy developing strong relationships and are highly detail oriented. With above average writing and communication skills, you are comfortable using online databases, word processing programs and social media.
