Architectural Technology Instructor

MCG Career College is seeking a qualified and experienced Architectural Technology Instructor to join our team.

Position: Architectural Technology Instructor Location: Remote, Canada

Responsibilities:

• Delivering engaging and informative lectures in architectural technology to students through a blended format, incorporating both in-class and online instruction.
• Developing and updating course curricula to ensure relevance and alignment with industry standards.
• Conducting assessments, and evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to students.
• Mentoring and supporting students to enhance their understanding and application of architectural technology principles.
• Facilitating hands-on training in using industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and 3D rendering software.
• Demonstrating practical applications of architectural technology concepts through real-world examples and projects.
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of industry experience in architectural technology.
• Proficiency in using software tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and 3D rendering software.
• Strong knowledge of current industry practices and emerging trends in architectural technology.
• MUST HAVE CANADIAN EXPERIENCE, ALBERTA EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students.
• Instructional experience in a classroom setting, preferably in a post-secondary or vocational education environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
