We’re looking for a Personal Risk Advisor to join our team and take ownership of Summit’s renters insurance program and other personal insurance programs we develop for our partners and associations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with customers, and is excited about shaping new and innovative personal insurance offerings.
Position Overview
As a Personal Risk Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and growing Summit’s personal insurance programs, ensuring an exceptional client experience while driving program success. You’ll be the main point of contact for customers, guiding them through the insurance process and making sure they have the right coverage for their needs. You’ll also work closely with our partners and associations to help refine and expand our offerings.

The Pay Range For This Role Is
50,000 - 60,000 CAD per year(Canada)

Key Responsibilities
- Program Management: Coordinate Summit’s renters insurance program and other personal lines insurance programs created for partners and associations.
- Customer Support: Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, helping them understand their coverage options and making personalized recommendations.
- Sales & Retention: Assist clients in purchasing or renewing policies, ensuring they receive the best coverage for their needs.
- Quote & Bind: Process applications, issue quotes, and bind policies efficiently while ensuring a seamless experience.
- Partner Collaboration: Work with Summit’s partners and associations to optimize personal lines programs and support their members' insurance needs.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and provide timely follow-ups to clients.
- Licensing: Level 1 insurance license required (RIBO license is an asset). Or willing to attain within 30 days of employment.
- Experience: Experience in personal lines insurance, preferably with experience in renters insurance, tenant programs, or affinity-based insurance solutions.
- Customer-Focused: Strong ability to build relationships, provide exceptional service, and create a seamless insurance experience.
- Sales & Service Oriented: A natural ability to balance sales growth with outstanding client care.
- Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple clients and policies at once.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience working with modern insurance platforms and CRMs is an asset.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to enhance program offerings.
