Learning solutions at this level may be complex and involve a higher degree of collaboration with assigned project teams, vendors, and internal and external partners. This role will actively develop internal partnerships with stakeholders and subject matter experts. The Senior Learning Partner will work with the Senior Manager Employee Growth and Development to manage learning solution requests and talent development requirements across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
Learning and Development Consulting:
- Work closely with learning team, business leaders, project teams, Employee Experience, change management and other internal departments throughout the learning process to understand business priorities, needs, strategies, and recommend an appropriate learning solutions and metrics.
- Influence stakeholders without authority and provide consultation on potential solutions that will close skill gaps, improve performance, and effectively manage change.
- Project manage small learning projects, keeping track of tasks, timelines and an assigned budget.
- Develop a best-in-class learning programs to address project and program needs while keeping sight of organizational and strategic goals.
- Develop a deep understanding of the business, future of work, and industry knowledge to better serve our internal client groups.
- Analyze the learning needs through a variety of approaches including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and review of available data.
- Partner with internal partners \ to ensure accuracy of analysis and validate identified gaps.
- Leverage the Kirkpatrick model (5 levels) for learning evaluation to determine the effectiveness of learning programs and return on investment.
- Use data driven insights to identify learning requirements, business needs related to performance and talent development, and opportunities for continuous improvement of learning programs.
- Own the delivery of blended learning solutions, ensuring positive learner experience for all learning programs and solutions.
- Facilitate face-to-face or virtual delivery as required – effectively engage learners using a variety of techniques and deliberately measure learning acquisition through a variety of approaches from informal to formal.
- Provide advisory and consultative services to the business, as required, to help align employee development with both individual and organizational learning and development needs.
- Understand and manage learning delivery across the entire L&D tech stack (Meridian Learning (UKG), LinkedIn Learning, Growthspace, Vimeo, etc.)
- Stay abreast of strategic emerging industry trends, with a keen focus on skill development to support workforce transformation through the future of work.
- Stay abreast of emerging industry trends impacting the design, development and delivery of learning programs.
- Stay abreast of emerging industry trends as it relates to the analysis and evaluation of learning programs.
- Strong business acumen and relationship management skills, supporting the ability to constructively work with internal stakeholders in all levels of the organization.
- Problem solving and communication skills that support proposing clear solutions to complex programs.
- Knowledge and experience with using L&D development (ADDIE, SAM) and evaluation (Kirkpatrick) methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications–and learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Visio, Adobe Premiere, Vyond, etc.)
- Manage multiple learning programs with extensive detailed coordination and a high attention to detail.
- Travel will be 10% interprovincial.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning and development, with a focus on consultation.
- Adult Learning Certificate or Degree – completed or equivalent professional experience
- Post-secondary education
- Financial Services experience considered an asset.
