We’re seeking a Project Pursuit Manager who will oversee, coordinate, and deliver on all aspects of complex heavy civil construction proposals that involve multiple contributors and stakeholders. This role involves developing pursuit strategies and leading estimating and technical teams to deliver the RFQ/RFP.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create and implement NorLand’s Major Projects Strategy and lead the development of pursuit strategies that align with company objectives.
- Identify and track public and private sector projects, and maintain relationships with customers and alliance partners.
- Develop win plans, oversee content development, maintain proposal schedules, and ensure timely delivery of proposals.
- Participate in discussions with Owners to develop project solutions that meet requirements.
- Analyze RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs to assess project requirements and risks.
- Manage relationships with owners, designers, JV/alliance partners, and internal teams.
- Review and analyze technical solutions, value engineering options, and project schedules.
- Attend pursuit meetings, client meetings, pre-bid conferences, and industry events as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Over 10 years of relevant work experience, including 5+ years in project pursuit.
- Experience in heavy civil construction projects and various bid delivery models.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
- Experience in contracts management and with underground utilities and specialty sub-contractors.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams through complex proposal processes.
- Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Compensation:
This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $140,000 - $170,000 per annum. The starting salary is based on competencies including knowledge, skills, and experience.
