Client Partner

Position Summary

The primary focus for the Client Partner, WMC is to exceed sales quotas while contributing to our team goals. The Client Partner will become an expert in Walmart Connect as well as the Canadian retail media landscape, trends, and business models through deep partnership with cross-functional teams. They will manage a high-volume of advertiser/seller accounts and use their expertise to build relationships by advising clients and creating strategic retail media plans. They will help define best practices, processes, and forge through ambiguity to move the business forward. Reporting directly to Sr. Director, Sales, the Client Partner will travel to client meetings (where applicable) and collaborate with colleagues onsite at the SSC.

What you'll do

1. Become an expert in the Walmart Marketplace, as well as the marketplace competitive landscape, trends, and business models through deep partnership with Key Account Managers and cross-functional teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify prospects, advise clients and build strategic retail media plans – pitch, negotiate, and execute campaigns.

2. Reach and strive to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas while contributing to team goals.

3. Sales forecasting and pipeline management – updating a sales forecast and accurately managing pipeline within a CRM tool daily.

4. Build deep relationships with clients and deliver tier-one customer service, host weekly/monthly check-ins, quarterly business reviews, strategic brainstorms, etc.

5. Help define best practices, processes, and forge through ambiguity to move the business forward.

6. Manage a high volume of advertiser accounts.

7. Attend industry events (may be virtual), network, and stay well-informed of retail media industry trends.

Qualifications

• University Degree required

• 5 to 7 years of professional experience

• Proven expertise in search media (digital)

Age – 16 or older
