Position Overview:

As the Marketing Operations Specialist, you will oversee the execution of all in-store marketing programs, ensuring smooth and timely implementation. You will be the primary liaison with store specialists, driving engagement and educating teams on new initiatives. This role will require you to plan and execute signage, promotional materials, and store communications, as well as manage key marketing campaigns and special promotions across the store network. You will ensure all marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives, delivering maximum impact in-store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Store Specialists Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for all store specialists, providing guidance, support, and coordination to ensure successful execution of in-store marketing programs.
  • In-Store Marketing Execution: Lead the execution of all in-store marketing programs, including the development and placement of promotional signage (tables, large format), flyers, and other collateral. Ensure timely delivery and quality control of these materials.
  • Colleague Engagement Lead: Drive participation and engagement among store specialists, ensuring they are well-informed and educated on all new marketing programs and initiatives. Develop and execute strategies to motivate participation and enhance program adoption.
  • Store Communications: Manage weekly and ad-hoc communications with the store network. Prepare and distribute program execution decks, ensuring stores are equipped with all necessary materials and instructions for successful program implementation.
  • Promotions Lead: Plan, execute, and obtain approval for all promotions, including PCO promotions and last-minute campaigns. Ensure that plans are developed across store, ecomm and enterprise channels and that all materials are aligned with brand standards.
  • Campaign Coordination & Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that in-store marketing campaigns are effectively communicated and executed, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies.
  • Standalone Store Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with operations, communications and store specialists to create and implement effective standalone store marketing strategies that drive traffic and sales.
  • Data & Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of in-store marketing programs and provide insights and recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in marketing operations, campaign management, or retail marketing. Experience with in-store marketing or retail environments is a plus.
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and across multiple departments.
    • Proven experience working in or with retail environments, managing store-level marketing initiatives.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute marketing campaigns with precision.
    • Comfortable with presenting materials and managing approvals from multiple stakeholders.
    • Ability to adapt quickly and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Ability to be a creative problem solver.
    • Proactive communicator who can get ahead of risks and manage expectations appropriately.
