We are looking for passionate, creative and driven Chef de Cuisine to help lead our kitchen team at our location in Vaughan. Candidates must have a passion for Italian cuisine, seasonality and great products while also being able to understand and manage team building, leadership, food costs, budgets and help running an efficient labor cost.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and love of Italian Cuisine
- 2 years minimum experience in a similar role
- Able to execute detail dishes with high cover counts
- Experience with Excel, Microsoft and other platforms
- Diploma from a Culinary school an asset
- Excellent social and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with the Executive chef and Sous Chef team
- High attention to detail
- Valid Canadian Work Permit and Social Insurance Number (SIN) required
