Job Title: Value Stream Manager

Position Description:
The Value Stream Manager will play a pivotal role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to achieve operational excellence and meet customer expectations. This position requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Position Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
· Lead a team of supervisors and associates to ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
· Develop and implement strategies to reduce turnover and enhance supervisor skills through ongoing training and development programs.
· Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to team leaders and hourly production associates.
Operational Excellence
· Develop and implement processes to optimize plant effectiveness and efficiency, including scheduling, logistics, and resource planning.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company-established goals related to production activities.
· Manage equipment needs, maintenance, and procurement in coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
· Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
· Identify and resolve complex issues to ensure all manufactured parts meet specifications and quality standards.
Strategic Planning and Communication
· Create, review, and update project schedules and forecasts, communicating status updates and changes to the manufacturing team.
· Stay informed about industry trends and business decisions to make informed recommendations.
Continuous Improvement
· Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork across all levels of the organization.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably in the electrical or related industry.
· Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
· Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
· Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
· Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and logistics planning.
· Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
· Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
