The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Business & Logistics Manager—a strategic, proactive professional who will oversee the financial, logistical, and operational backbone of the business. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on being two steps ahead, anticipating business needs before they arise, and driving continuous improvement across multiple companies.

The ideal candidate is passionate about agriculture, embraces technology and AI, and excels in financial strategy, logistics management, and relationship building. You’ll play a critical role in forecasting, reporting, and optimizing processes, ensuring our client remains at the forefront of innovation in the agricultural sector.


Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Financial Oversight

  • Analyze financial reports, provide insights, and deliver accurate yearly projections.
  • Prepare strategic financial packages for key stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Develop, review, and optimize financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting strategies.
  • Manage risk, ensuring compliance with insurance, financial, and operational best practices.

Logistics & Operational Efficiency

  • Oversee supply chain, inventory, and distribution logistics, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Implement AI-driven efficiencies and technology solutions to optimize business functions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and lead innovation initiatives in agriculture technology and logistics.
  • Proactively anticipate business needs, ensuring operations stay ahead of the curve.

Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, understanding their priorities and staying ahead of their needs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Gather, organize, and present critical business information to leadership in a clear, actionable format.
  • Drive collaboration across departments to ensure smooth execution of business objectives.


Qualifications

  • Deep passion for agriculture and business growth, with prior knowledge or experience in the sector.
  • Strong financial acumen—able to interpret, analyze, and report on financial statements and projections.
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or operational management.
  • Knowledge of insurance, risk management, and regulatory compliance in the agricultural space.
  • Highly proactive, strategic, and forward-thinking, always anticipating the next move.
  • Comfortable working with technology, AI tools, and automation to drive business efficiencies.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, able to build trust with leadership and act as a reliable business partner.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills—able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to package and present business information for executive review in a polished, concise manner.
