Role and Facility Information

Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center is seeking a general neurologist with a sub specialty interest in stroke. There is an immense opportunity for academic and teaching as well as research both at the local level and Fraser health region if so desired.

The Abbotsford regional Hospital in cancer center is a teaching hospital as well as a referral center for stroke. The neurologist will join a very collegial group of neurologists with other subspecialty interests and who provide emergency inpatient and outpatient services. Remuneration is fee-for-service. The candidate must be eligible for FRCPC registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.

Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Centre is a 272 bed, University of British Columbia affiliated hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, inpatient pediatrics, renal, cardiology, tertiary palliative care, helipad, as well as 24/7 emergency services with 79,289 visits annually.
