Days,8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Current Registration as a Dental Hygienist in the Province of Ontario;
  • Diploma from an approved Dental Hygienist Program from a recognized College of Applied Arts and Technology;
  • Two (2) years related experience with a variety of dental conditions and treatments;
  • Previous experience working with medically and physically compromised patients;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Superior interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to teach (patients, families, students);
  • Enhanced judgement and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills;
  • Demonstrated flexibility, time management and organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment;
  • Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications and dental scheduling software;
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant section of the Health Disciplines Act;
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a hospital based dental clinic;
  • Proficiency in English and French – oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
