Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

As the Executive Assistant to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer (CSMO), you will provide high-level administrative support ranging from routine to complex matters and ensure smooth operation of the CSMO’s office.

Contract Term: 12 months.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.

Your Moneris Career - What You'll Do

  • Manage the daily administrative and confidential activities to support the CSMO, including reviewing and prioritizing of emails, tasks, printing of documents for review before meetings.
  • Schedule complex activities such as shareholder bank, client, vendor and internal meetings, conferences and travel arrangement.
  • Maintain the CSMO’s calendar; coordinate meetings, arrange for meeting setup and refreshments, attend internal meetings, takes notes and transcribes minutes and follows up with individuals with action items.
  • Work with EAs of the Moneris executives, Board members, partner bank executive, suppliers, customers and the like to schedule meetings, both standing and ad hoc.
  • Prepare board material packages for Sales & Marketing team.
  • On an annual basis, works with internal groups and external suppliers to plan and manage the National Sales Conference, including the Gala dinner, and Circle of One trip, and manage annual budget.
  • Type memoranda, correspondence, reports, agreements, presentations, forms and other documents from drafts, notes, dictation or brief oral instructions.
  • Create, develop, amend, and proofread presentations and documentation requiring different computer software applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Receive and screens visitors and telephone calls, providing information and handling issues that may require sensitivity.

Your Moneris Career - What You Bring

  • College or university degree in Administration.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-Level Executives.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, internal clients and third party providers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work with and process confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.

Nice-to-have...

  • Previous experience in the payment industry considered an asset.
  • Experience as an Executive Assistant supporting Sales/Marketing teams would be considered an asset.
  • Bilingual in English and French.
