About The Role
Reporting directly to the President, the Operations Manager will oversee all operational aspects of the company, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and alignment with business objectives. This role will play a key part in optimizing warehouse operations, inventory management, and customer satisfaction while leading a dynamic team to success.
What You’ll Do
Operations Leadership
- Oversee warehouse operations, including space utilization, workflow optimization, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Streamline procurement, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Develop and implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Manage supplier and vendor relationships to ensure timely stock replenishment and product availability.
- Develop and oversee the operations budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of ERP and CRM systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize data analytics to drive process improvements and enhance operational workflows.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate warehouse and customer service teams to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and efficiency.
- Foster collaboration between sales and operations teams to ensure customer demands are met effectively.
- Partner with the sales team to deliver tailored solutions, competitive pricing, and timely responses.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and ensure timely resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Implement quality assurance processes to meet and exceed industry benchmarks.
- Establish and maintain robust processes, controls, and accountability measures to streamline operations.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as order accuracy, delivery timelines, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training to maintain a secure work environment.
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar leadership role, preferably in the electrical or industrial supply industry.
- Expertise in warehouse management, inventory control, and ERP/CRM systems.
- Strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs), kitting, logistics, and light assembly processes.
- Experience in designing and managing sales pipelines for effective cross-departmental coordination.
- Strong grasp of process improvement, controls, and financial accountability.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
