JOB SUMMARY


The RFP Manager is responsible for identifying upcoming RFP opportunities & coordinate Medline’s responses.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Scope new RFP opportunities across the business

· Coordinate Medline’s response to open RFP’s with product & clinical specialists, regulatory representatives & regional sales team to ensure bid compliance

· Respond to RFPs from Healthcare Facilities, including specific hospitals and GPOs, government entities, medical facilities.

· Prepare product costing analysis for RFP submissions, and review bid margins & profitability

· Liaise with product specialists to identify product equivalents and product specifications for proposals

· Complete technical and business-related questions for tender responses

· Liaise with Quality, Operations, Finance, Clinical and Product Specialists to ensure bids are accurate, compliant and complete, in time.

· Order samples for bid submissions and table top evaluations related to bid submissions

· Liaise with Account Managers and Hospitals to coordinate references for bid submissions

· Communicate with internal stakeholders on award notifications

· Complete RFP debriefs upon win/loss notifications


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-secondary education in a related field with 3-5 years of experience as an analyst
  • Exceptional analytical & organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
  • Ability to work under pressure with specific deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, and other Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
