Position Summary
We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Account Executive to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Ticketing, this role is ideal for a highly motivated individual passionate about sports, sales, and community engagement. The successful candidate will drive revenue, build relationships, and connect our team and facility with the local communities.
Key Responsibilities
Account Executive Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and secure group sales partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
- Co-develop and present customized ticket packages that align with company goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sales programs and campaigns focused on long-term business sustainability.
- Maintain a database, track sales performance using mandatory processes, and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
- Meet and exceed sales goals and weekly contact minimums, including cold calling, appointments, and stadium tours.
- Represent the team at community events, ensuring a positive and professional presence.
We are developing a fun, hard-working, and 'jump in where needed' culture to support success in every aspect of our operation. It's all hands on deck during the season whenever and wherever the organization needs help.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, sponsorship, or a similar role.
- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Sports sales experience is preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for baseball and community engagement is a plus.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required during the season.
- Class 5 license and the ability to lift 25 lbs during game days if required.
