Who is a Group Fitness Instructor Trainee?
A Group Fitness Instructor Trainee is someone who is responsible for learning how to provide a high quality, engaging and motivating experience, that includes safe, inclusive and enjoyable instruction and leadership in all Group Fitness classes.
What will you be doing?
- Provide instruction of a high quality, safe and enjoyable experience in all Group Fitness classes.
- Promote/support your own classes/programs as well as other classes/programs to encourage Member engagement in Group Experience programming.
- Teach a minimum of twice per week and follow the subbing policy.
- Support Club Management with handling Member concerns with professionalism and care.
- Maintain an effective working relationship with Management and other Associates.
- CPR-A Certification; you will be required to obtain your CPR prior to your first scheduled class.
- Has taken a live, online or virtual Group Fitness class, and is passionate about learning to teach fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
- Energetic and personable with a healthy and positive outlook
- Motivated, enthusiastic and dependable
- Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the Health and Fitness Industry
- Customer focused
- Ability to fully understand and embrace the company culture
