We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Talent Acquisition Co-op Student to join our team this Summer term. If you're ready to dive into a sea of opportunities and tackle hands-on experience in talent acquisition, this role is for you!

With a focus on sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews, the position is ideal for students in their 3rd or 4th year of university or college, or those who have recently graduated. You will have the chance to work on diverse projects, collaborate with internal business partners, and support various talent acquisition initiatives, ensuring you gain valuable skills and experience while working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Candidate Sourcing:
    • Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events.
    • Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
    • Conduct initial candidate screenings and assessments.
  • Interview Coordination:
    • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
    • Communicate with candidates to provide interview details and follow-up information.
    • Assist in the preparation of interview materials and documentation.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy:
    • Learn about and contribute to talent acquisition strategies and best practices.
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative recruitment campaigns.
    • Support the implementation of talent acquisition initiatives and projects.
  • HR Department Support:
    • Provide support to other HR departments as needed, including onboarding, employee relations, and training.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of HR documentation and records.
Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:
    • Co-op Student enrolled in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related program.
    • Excellent people skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams to gather information and solve problems.
    • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
    • Detail-oriented and a team player.
    • Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret various data.
    • Good computer skills.
