The Assistant Fitness Manager (AFM) reports to the General Manager and Fitness Manager, overseeing all fitness and personal training offerings. The AFM builds an engaged fitness team of Personal Trainers, ensuring a top-tier experience for members. Responsibilities include financial results, member retention and satisfaction, and exemplifying company culture.

Responsibilities:

People Management

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including health and safety, and member management.
• Provide leadership, coaching, feedback, and performance management to support employee development.
• Conduct regular check-ins and training sessions with employees.

Fitness Management

• Achieve personal training and supplement goals through effective leadership.
• Implement programs and promotions to achieve department goals and client acquisition.
• Ensure engaging and high-quality personal training programs align with client goals.
• Manage accurate administration of personal training products and services.
• Address cleanliness, health, and safety concerns promptly.
• Foster strong relationships with other departments within the company.

Education & Experience

• Active Personal Trainer Certification and First Aid Certification required.
• Preferred leadership or management experience in sales, retail, or hospitality.
• Effective communication and public speaking skills.
• Exceptional work ethic and motivation as a self-starter and team player.
