The Role

We’re looking for reliable and dedicated AZ/DZ Drivers to join our unionized team! These are part-time opportunities, working shiftwork in a 24/7 operation. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine both driving and warehouse duties, providing variety and stability in your workday. While driving, you’ll earn $23.22/hr for DZ drivers and $23.97/hr for AZ drivers, and when not driving, you’ll assist with warehouse duties at $17.55/hr. The duties will vary depending on the needs of the business, ensuring a dynamic and flexible work environment.

On-site at the Sault Ste. Marie Distribution Centre

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivery of bottles, cans, and kegs of beer to various customers
  • Pickup of recycling and refillable materials from various customers
  • Prepare orders by picking, packing, wrapping and labelling product
  • Maintain service quality by following organizations standards
  • Ensure that customer service targets and goals are successfully met
  • Ensure the company’s Health and Safety and Operational efficiencies are met
  • Exemplify the Company’s dedication to customer service
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned

Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Education

  • Must have completed High School and/or GED equivalent
  • Must have a valid DZ license in good standing and a clear drivers abstract, AZ license an asset

Experience

  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Previous beverage delivery experience is considered an asset

Skills

  • Must be able to continuously lift 40 pounds or more and walk or stand for majority of shift
  • Demonstrated reliability and dependability
  • The availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed in this role
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills
