Responsibilities

What Your Days Will Look Like as a Project Manager - Risk Analysis and Environmental Toxicology:

Reporting To The Director Of Risk Analysis, You Will Manage Both Technical And Project Management Tasks Related To Toxicological Characterization And Risk Analysis, In Collaboration With The Project Director. You Will

• Conduct Scientific Literature Reviews on various topics related to the toxicology of environmental contaminants (e.g., health effects, emerging contaminants, environmental fate of substances).
• Create Databases (toxicology, geochemistry, exposure parameters, physicochemical properties, etc.).
• Document the Toxicity of Contaminants and estimate acceptable exposure levels.
• Model Exposure of Receptors to Contaminants (dose modeling).
• Perform Toxicological and Ecotoxicological Risk Assessments.
• Write Technical Documentation and various reports in both English and French.
• Ensure Projects Adhere to Budgets and Timelines.
• Assist in Preparing Service Proposals.
  
  

Qualifications

What Will Set You Apart:

• University-level education in toxicology or ecotoxicology.
• Experience in toxicological or ecotoxicological risk analysis (a major asset).
• Knowledge and/or experience in epidemiology (an asset).
• Excellent command of both French and English (report writing): Given the diversity of our team and the need to communicate with local, pan-Canadian, and international clients and partners, proficiency in both languages is essential.
• Strong research and scientific information synthesis skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
