Retail Marketing Co-Op Associate

Company Description

Working under general supervision, the Marketing Co-op will provide Sales & Marketing support for retail businesses. Please note this is a contract position.

Job Description

• Provide Channel Marketing support by assisting with the creation and maintenance of retail planograms, auditing and updating customer websites, assisting on new product presentations and administering customer setup sheets as required
• Support graphic, copy, and product specification requests from Account Managers, Sales & Service Representatives, Customers and Vendors
• Liaise with external vendors/suppliers on the development and implementation of marketing materials and maintain the marketing material inventory reporting tool
• Assist and provide administrative support for Key Category initiatives
• Assist in the development of internal and external marketing communications for new customer programs, new product launches and merchandising/selling tools
• Support the development and implementation of planogram and display projects. Heavy lifting (i.e. faucet master packs, bath self-organizers) will be required while working in the warehouse as well as maintenance of the marketing room.
  
  

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary in Marketing or Business (in progress or graduate)
• Proficient computer and graphic applications (MS Word, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Photoshop)
• Space Planning software an asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Team player
• Creative
