Senior Business Analyst

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for Business Analysts to work on a project whose scope includes Clinical Support Model, Non-Clinical Device Deployment planning, and Enhanced Access deployment planning and execution for all the health organization sites.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis – Specific duties include:
• Conduct and document analysis for diverse workstreams in the Project and enhancements related to the Department’s business and strategic goals. This includes assessment of the current situation and business requirements, development of solution recommendations, opportunity evaluations, development of business cases and cost analysis. Solutions may be business, process, technology, and/or service oriented.
• Plan, Facilitate, and lead workshops with internal and external participants and facilitate decision-making with the business, departmental management, and external partners (where appropriate)
• Lead and complete the preparation and documentation of business requirements, business process definitions, workflow processes and data models, system specifications, and implementation plans.
• Present complex options with a solution recommendation to leadership and partners.
• Conduct research to establish best practices and recommend technology and service solutions
• Aid in directing the system development process, including planning and monitoring development efforts.
• Provide expertise/advice on behalf of partners to project managers and technical specialists.
Project Management – Specific duties include:
• Manage aspects of projects and initiatives, including the planning and organization of a broad range of complex business enablement activities involving some uncertainty and requiring the formulation and adjustment of strategies or approaches.
• Conducts and documents analysis.
• Leads the preparation and documentation of system requirements, business cases, business process definitions, workflow process and data models, and implementation plans. Designs evaluation criteria and performs/coordinates evaluations and demos.
Leadership - Specific duties include:
• Ensure effective communication where agreement or cooperation is required or where there are barriers to understanding. Establish and manage competing priorities and identify opportunities for cross-departmental or corporate initiatives.
• Chair partner and team meetings, coach, and mentor team members, and monitor tasks and quality of work.
• Delegate and coordinate work with other teams across the project.
• Provide and receive highly complex, sensitive, and contentious information in situations requiring highly developed interpersonal skills including empathy, persuasion, negotiation, and tact
Customer Relationship Management - Specific duties include:
• Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and act as a liaison between partners and project
• Achieves understanding and buy-in for planned approaches and projects.
• Develops and maintains open lines of communication with partners and end users.
• Prepares and delivers progress reports.
• Creates and manages project communication plans.
• Participates in departmental committees and working groups.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10 years experience as Senior Business Analyst
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 6 years working in the health sector
• Minimum of 4 years working with the public sector
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
• Experience with large-scale deployment planning
• Prior experience in large health information system projects.
• Ability to develop a comprehensive business and technical roadmap/plan for current and future state.
• Rich experience in planning and supporting cross-functional IT projects in the real world.
• Experience working within and across remote teams, inter- and intra-organizationally
• Excellent communication, relationship building, and conflict management skills across organizations with competing priorities and workstreams
• Proven track record of successful client engagements
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified change manager with Prosci or CCMP designation
• Data Analysis diploma
• Experience in delivering and/or supporting training initiatives
