Automotive Glass Repair & Replacement Specialist

We have a current opening in our protective services department for an automotive glass repair and replacement specialist. Must be experienced completing stone chip repairs, windshield replacement, and door glass replacement. We will only consider applicants that have at least 5 years or more experience in automotive glass repair and replacement. Please do not apply if you do not have this required experience.

Job Requirements

  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Must be an experienced and expert auto-glass repair and replacement specialist
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have valid driver's license
  • Criminal record check
  • Must be goal oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Must provide references from previous employers
  • Must be able to complete installations in a timely manner and stay on schedule.
  • Preference will be given to individuals with diversified skill sets
  • Relatable trade experience is an asset (paint protection film, window tinting, vinyl wrapping, multi-stage detailing, and ceramic coating)

Responsibilities

  • Repair stone chips and perform a variety of automotive glass and windshield replacements
  • Discuss jobs and work with customers on a daily basis
  • Make coverage recommendations to customers and if needed, provide a revised estimate
  • Wash and detail the exterior of the car after installation
  • Work in a shop environment as well as on location at body shops and dealerships
  • Clean and organize shop space before and after workday
  • If using a company mobile unit for offsite jobs, clean and organize at the end of the workday
  • Go over the job completed when the customer comes to pick up their car at the end of the day
  • Assess warranty work and requirements
