Department: Extensions for Community Health Outcomes (ECHO)
Site: St. Joseph's Health Centre
Shifts: Days/Evenings
Rate of Pay: $29.21 - $36.52 per hour
Reporting to the Clinical Manager – Project ECHO & Chronic Pain Management Program, the Session Facilitator is responsible for ensuring that all ECHO educational sessions are of excellent quality by functioning as a resource in planning, facilitating, and supporting the local Hub team with a range of educational components. Principle responsibilities will include facilitating the weekly ECHO session for the Chronic Pain and Opioid Stewardship ECHO cycle (40 sessions) as well as any other additional pilot project sessions. The Session Facilitator will also assist with the review of presentation content, representation at conferences, seminars and other educational activities that promote inter-professional learning and collaboration; collaborating with ECHO staff and research personnel; and ensuring the efficient and effective operations of all ECHO sessions and learning modules.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Post-secondary education in a related field
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent computer skills and must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Zoom
- Demonstrated interest in use of technology for the delivery of education/training activities
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Self-directed with an ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work
Assets:
- Experience in web-based learning technology and use of videoconferencing equipment considered an asset
