Warehouse Material Handler

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Receive products from vendors as orders arrive in the Food warehouse.
• Stock warehouse shelves, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Assist Warehouse Supervisors with paperwork (purchase orders and invoices) as required.
• Process orders for food locations and ensure deliveries to units in the Park on a timely basis.
• Provide stock level information to Supervisors.
• Ensure all warehouse vehicles are inspected daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
• Any additional duties outlined by Warehouse Supervisor, and full-time Manager.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment, operating a forklift, and working with heavy equipment is an asset.
• Proactive approach with a positive attitude, able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Able to work efficiently with an emphasis on safety.
• Able to perform heavy lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract; own CSA approved safety footwear.
• Able to successfully complete CW certification.
• Able to work in cold environments such as refrigerators and freezers as needed.
• Availability to work flexible shifts from March through Labour Day and part-time hours until the end of December.
• Able to work five shifts per week starting at 6am and ending at 8pm including weekends and holidays.
