What you will do:

  • Assess current accounting processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and develop strategies for optimization.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives within the accounting function, focusing on efficiency, automation, and internal controls.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for accounting processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to accounting teams on new processes and best practices.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Operations, to implement process enhancements and system improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls while optimizing processes.
  • Monitor performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of process changes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes by reducing cycle times and enhancing accuracy.
  • Manage projects related to process optimization, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or process improvement roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Oracle) and process automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
