Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain employee data and records within Oracle Fusion, our Human Capital Management (HCM) System
  • Assist with and become well-versed in Position Management.
  • New Hire Orientations (connecting with new hires, assisting with/collecting forms, etc.)
  • Assist with recruitment (e.g. posting jobs, pre-screening, scheduling interviews) for hourly positions across Canada.
  • Assist HR team with the completion of forms and documents.
  • Use Oracle Fusion (HCM) and MS Excel prepare periodic reports.
  • Correspondence (letters of invitation, confirmation of employment, etc.)
  • Coding of HR related invoices for payment.
  • Assist with HR related projects (e.g. job descriptions database, workforce planning, hourly performance reviews, etc.)
  • Support HR Business Partners as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (Human Resources or a related field), or recent post-secondary graduate.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • The ability to prioritize multiple incoming tasks, and work to achieve your goal.
  • Computer/technology savvy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Previous HR or administrative experience is an asset, but not required.
