We have an opening for a Telecom Project Manager at our Calgary location.

Responsibilities

  • Executing projects on schedule, on budget, and with exceptional quality.
  • Coordinating with customers and municipal authorities.
  • Coordinating work with the design team and drafting team to meet customer work.
  • Coordinating with financial administration for budgets and finances.
  • Project schedule management and tracking.
  • Construction coordination and site inspection as required.
  • Customer meetings and presentations
  • Various engineering and project management tasks.
  • Technical mentorship of junior employees.
  • Technical review of designs produced by junior employees.
  • Business development, telecommunications design, and construction offerings to existing and new customers.
  • Collaboration with and supporting other Primary offices – telecommunications design.
  • Being part of a great team and shaping the future of the industry.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Telecommunications industry experience with knowledge of design and drafting standards.
  • Knowledge of fibre, copper, coaxial & civil design is an asset.
  • Knowledge of FTTH, Centralized Split and Distributed Split is an asset.
  • Must be able to create and understand Microsoft Projects files and schedules.
  • Must be able to understand telecommunication design drawings.
  • Must be able to take on limited design tasks independently.
  • Must be able to attend and run in-person meetings in Calgary, AB.
