What Is the Opportunity?

The Travelers Canada Internship Program provides qualified students with an excellent opportunity to gain first-hand experience, receive valuable on-the-job training and learn more about the property & casualty insurance industry. Interns receive challenging work assignments that add value and impact the organization.

What Will You Do?

• Complete challenging and meaningful work.
• Learn about the insurance industry, different lines of business, interact with a variety of talented leaders from the organization and more!
• Learn and understand effective strategies for handling an Auto Physical Damage Claim.
• Develop knowledge of the Ontario Auto Policy (OAP 1) and the Ontario Insurance Act.
• Networking opportunities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

• Students who are serious about entering the insurance industry and whom are excited about the prospect of making Claim their future career choice.
• Preferred areas of study include Business Administration, Risk Management, and Insurance.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Students completing their final or 3rd year.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills
  
  

What is a Must Have?

• Must be pursuing a post-secondary diploma or bachelor's degree.
• Legally eligible to work in the Canada.
