Nature of the Position:

Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor and/or Lead Hand, and within the policies, standards, and procedures of Vita Health Products Inc., this position will be responsible for Distribution Warehouse duties.

Hours:

Evenings - 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Completing required documentation and gun transfers accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet timelines as required.
• Replenishing home locations with stock from overstock.
• Daily cycle counts and inventory checks as required.
• Monthly inventory counts on pre-cursor finished goods.
• Moving finished products from the receiving dock and putting into home or overstock locations.
• Picking and preparing materials for the Assemblers.
• Picking and preparing customer sales orders shipping.
• Provide components to Packaging as per job order.
• Return packaging materials and supplies to the warehouse.
• Rotate stock and maintain warehouse locations for packaging components and finished goods.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse as per GMP guidelines.
• Follows all SOPs and GMPs as applicable.
• Train new staff as required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain RPIC clearance and obtain and maintain a clear criminal record for the previous 10 years.
• Willing to step in as the back-up Distribution Lead Hand when necessary as required by the business.
• Must successfully pass the selection process.
• Must be able to immediately obtain forklift certification and display proficiency operating both reach truck and counter balance forklifts during the training period and during employment thereafter.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Demonstrated ability to pay close attention to detail and perform accurate mathematical calculations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Warehouse & Distribution Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
• Must be able to maintain a passing grade in all assigned GMP training courses.
