Job Description

The Manager, Financial Technical Systems is responsible for supporting and maintaining the cloud infrastructure of an Oracle Fusion ERP environment, serving over 1,000 users. This role involves collaborating with functional teams to transform business requirements into technical designs, managing user security and access, and ensuring the overall security posture of the Oracle Cloud environment. The Manager is also accountable for administering integrations, overseeing updates and patches, and providing support for technical issues and system configurations.

Note: This position qualifies for an optional hybrid work schedule after 90 days of onsite work and onboarding. Employee will be subject to the terms of the Flexible Work Policy Agreement.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborates closely with functional teams to transform business and functional requirements into technical designs and concepts, ensuring these designs are scalable and aligned with company processes.
  • Manages user security, including creating custom roles, implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and integrating Active Directory (AD).
  • Responsible for maintaining the security architecture, and over all security posture used to administer user roles, and data access in Oracle Cloud.
  • Administers integration access across Oracle Suite and external system.
  • Manages the promotion of code changes across different environments.
  • Responsible for the technical impact analysis of all Oracle Updates / Patches.
  • Creates refresh request and support Post Cloning activities across all Oracle instances / environments.
  • Supports ODA archives and ensures the timely and accurate execution of the archival process for Oracle Cloud data based on the functional requirements of the business.
  • Supports application and integration development efforts, contributing to the continuous improvement of technical solutions.
  • Manages the maintenance and configuration of technical setups to ensure system integrity and functionality.
  • Provides Tier 3 support to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, working closely with support teams and Oracle product support as needed.
  • Leads a team of functional and technical professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and ensuring the alignment of team efforts with project objectives and business needs.
  • Accountable for team performance and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with business goals.


What You’ll Bring

  • 7-10+ years of experience in managing teams, technical development, administration, configuration, or technical support roles. Proficiency with Oracle Cloud Applications, Oracle Infrastructure, Oracle Integration Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Identity and Access Management is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder Cloud, and APEX development. Familiarity with integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, and cloud architecture principles.
  • Experienced in Oracle Cloud implementation and configurations. Certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient with multiple Oracle reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, Apex, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Studio. Capable of creating reports, analyses, dashboards, and writing complex SQL queries.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving Oracle Cloud technical issues, discrepancies, and system errors promptly.
  • Hands-on experience in developing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud’s capabilities, including adapters, orchestration, transformation, and monitoring.
  • Implement integrations, Visual Builder Cloud, and APEX developments on Oracle Integration Cloud, utilizing its full range of capabilities effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of basic functional process flows and concepts in Financials and Supply Chain to support the technical aspects of any Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud integration using FBDI, APIs, Open Interface tables, ADFDI, web services, etc., including knowledge of SaaS-PaaS integrations and hybrid integration approaches with on-premises applications and supporting middleware technologies.
  • Senior Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP Security, including understanding security architecture, user roles, and data access in Oracle Cloud.
  • Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure foundation will be an asset.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and leadership skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $122,700 - $147,200 In determining final salary, Seaspan considers many factors including the successful Candidate’s skillset and experience as well as position location and internal equity. The final base salary offer will be at the Company’s sole discretion and presented as part of a competitive total compensation package.
