We are looking for applicants passionate about advancing single cell research as BD Canada seeks to add a Single Cell Multiomics Sales Specialist to its Biosciences team! The specialist will be responsible for carrying out sales and technical application activities for the BD Rhapsody Single Cell Multiomics platform in the assigned territory, driving market development and revenue growth. This 12-month contract position based in the GTA area seeks a self-starter who can work independently and within larger teams to drive results for customers using the BD Rhapsody single cell system. The position requires significant direct interaction with existing and potential customers.

Sales Responsibilities (50%):

• Developing a target customer list.
• Customer visits and discussions on the BD Rhapsody solution with our sales team or independently to build our sales funnel.
• Early opportunity development to strengthen our sales pipeline.
• RFP stage – technical responses, demos/site visits.
• Post-sales support – train customers and support system utilization.

Marketing Responsibilities (10%):

• Develop and maintain collateral for the Canadian market in conjunction with Product Manager.
• Develop and maintain competitive playbooks for solution positioning.
• KOL and reference site ownership – working with Product/Marketing managers on market development activities.

Applications Responsibilities (40%):

• Develop content on integrating ScM with flow cytometry solutions.
• Provide ScM training and support to customers to drive proposed solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Meeting with customers to position BD Rhapsody instrument and consumable product solutions.
• Ensuring growth targets are met/exceeded for the territory through sales activities.
• Providing regular feedback to the business teams on market opportunities and threats.
• Consistently demonstrating a strong understanding and execution of a proper sales process.
• Developing and maintaining a short/long term sales pipeline.
• Hands on demonstration of protocols and workflows. Troubleshooting customer results.
• Scientific support in Molecular & Cell Biology and Genomics.
• Maintaining accurate customer contact details in the CRM database (Salesforce).

Education and Experience :

• PhD degree in Life Sciences, preferably Immunology or Molecular Biology.
• 3+ years Research laboratory experience, including use of Flow Cytometry and developing single cell experiments.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge regarding current Multiomics and genomic applications and techniques.
• Familiarity with data analysis for flow cytometry and single cell workflows.
• Experience with cell preparations for single cell workflows.
• Must be motivated to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal, and written skills.
