*Our hybrid model requires this role to be in office 4 days a week with flexible working hours at our Bathurst/Lakeshore location.*

The Assistant Category Manager is accountable for maintaining and executing the promotional calendar for The Mobile Shop. They will assess performance of offers and other initiatives and make recommendations for future activities. They are also responsible for staying on top of industry trends and ensuring pricing and offers are competitive. This role works cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communications, leverage expertise and gain efficiencies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Aid in planning and execution of TMS initiatives
  • Ensure offers are properly executed and digital/website showcases appropriate pricing, products and services
  • Maintain quarterly Promotional calendar to keep offers fresh for customers
  • Work cross functionally with internal and external partners to execute campaigns
  • Support data for preparation of MBRs/QBRs and other ad hoc business presentations
  • Analyze daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and provide insights
  • Perform regular pricing reviews and research on industry performance, trends, products, services and opportunities
  • Work with team to execute TMS chatbot content enhancements
  • Audits to ensure overall store and customer experience is to Loblaw standards
  • Regular Store visits

What You Bring:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Operations, Business or Strategy
  • University degree in Business, Commerce or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing process and promotional strategies
  • Experience with data-driven sales approaches
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to present and collaborate across all levels and cross-functionality
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Creative and continuous improvement mentality
  • Excellent problem-solving skills to tactfully deal with customer feedback and demonstrated ability to work out resolutions
