Midland Transport is currently seeking a Foreperson based out of the Truro Terminal location. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and "Can Do" attitude.

Shift: Monday to Thursday (11:30pm to 8:30am) and Sunday (7:30pm to 8am)

Responsibilities

• Dock setup
• Scanning process and paperwork (BOLs)
• Manage the unloading of LTL trailers and the loading of City P & D trailers.
• Communicate with other Dock Workers to ensure safe loading and unloading.
• Keeping the dock ad work area clean and fully functioning
• Flexible to assist in other areas when volumes are low, including covering for both courier and transport deliveries
  
  

Qualifications

Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma

Years of Experience Required: <2 years; previous experience in a warehouse and/or shipping environment.

Committed to working safely in a fast-paced environment.

Capable of working positively with others toward common goals

Able to read and write clearly to complete paperwork.

Efficient and hard-working

Basic math skills, computer skills, and organizational skills
