About The Role

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our material processing facilities, contributing to the responsible management of waste

Position Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation, within the facility boundaries, and inspection of a variety of equipment including but not limited to pressure washers, power tools, hand tools, forklifts, yard dog, high vacuum trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, boom lifts, and scissor lifts in accordance with company policies and procedures as well as OSHA requirements and all local, state, and federal laws.
• First-Aid/CPR/AED Certification or the ability to obtain the necessary certifications is required.
• Responsible for the safe operation of the site’s equipment in the assigned areas.
• Responsible to perform minor maintenance and adjustments on equipment using tools and parts provide by Reworld.
• Responsible for conducting daily motorized machinery inspections on the site’s equipment.
• Comply with all health, safety and environmental, policies, procedures, practices and regulations.
• Communicates production problems and equipment repair needs to appropriate Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Supervisor.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One plus years’ experience in a warehouse setting
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak and communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees of the organization.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AZ License preferred; experience operating tractor-trailers and walking trailers is a plus
• Heavy equipment operator training program, preferred
• Skid Steer experience, preferred
  
  

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator 
• Consistently work in various weather conditions
