We are looking for an Account Executive within our Digital Citizen Experience division to sell specific products and services to municipal governments and public sector organizations in their region. The role involves building interest in our software and services through various prospecting activities such as introductory meetings, educational and consultative sessions, interactive demonstrations, and formal RFP processes.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Sell SAAS solutions to local governments within the assigned territory
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets established
- Achieve lead generation, prospecting, and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships and referrals by being a “trusted advisor” among local governments within the assigned territory.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for all opportunities including initial client communication, on-site presentations, RFI response, RFP submission, negotiation, and deal signing. The candidate is the focal point for all communication and sales activities with prospects and customers.
- Work in close collaboration with Product Management, Marketing and Project Management teams to ensure that solutions are inline with business goals while also fully meeting customers’ business and technology needs.
- Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility, and trust.
- At least 5 years of direct sales experience in enterprise software, SaaS or IT services, ideally in a public sector environment.
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience with vendor selection processes including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.
- Ability to maintain strong territory management focus during sales cycles that are typically six months to one year in duration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage often complex negotiations with senior-level business and technology executives.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer communications, proposal generation, etc.
