Windows Systems Administrator:

On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for a Windows Systems Administrator for an 10-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Mississauga office.


Windows Systems Administrator - Job Description:

This role involves managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows servers and related technologies. The project focuses on enhancing and supporting the current infrastructure, including data center operations and cloud service management.


Windows Systems Administrator - Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows servers
• Administer Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint farm
• Implement and support Microsoft cloud technologies, including M365, Azure, and D365
• Oversee data center technologies, including Dell/HP servers and NetApp storage
• Perform networking and security tasks
• Conduct regular physical work in the data center, such as mounting server chassis and storage disk arrays
• Work onsite at the Mississauga office and occasionally visit the data center within the GTA area
  
  
  

Windows Systems Administrator - Mandatory Skills:

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows servers
• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and SharePoint farm administration
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies (M365, Azure, D365)
• Experience with data center technologies like Dell/HP servers and NetApp storage
• Networking and security expertise
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a data center environment
• Must have lived and worked in Canada for the last 5 years to pass Enhanced Security Clearance
