About This Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Procurement and Facilities, is responsible for the end-to-end sourcing and procurement of goods and services essential to corporate and operational functions, including managing facilities programs across multiple locations. This role ensures cost-efficient, high-quality service delivery while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.

This position also leads efforts in vendor management, contract negotiations, facility maintenance, and employee development within the department, aligning procurement strategies with the company's core values, vision and operational goals.

  • Lead and mentor a team of procurement and facilities professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and services essential to business operations and shared services
  • Manage vendor selection, negotiation and evaluation of contracts, pricing, payment terms and service schedules that ensure cost effective and reliable service delivery
  • Monitor and report on supplier performance in accordance with industry standards and maintain relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality services
  • Oversee all vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards
  • Oversee the day-to-day facilities management across all CBI Health offices and clinics, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency
  • Manage facilities programs, including emergency response and insurance claims, preventative maintenance and repairs, and facility FF&E requirements
  • Ensure facilities meet legal requirements, safety standards, and operational privacy and security guidelines
  • Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient service delivery for facilities-related initiatives
  • Implement cost-effective, reliable and sustainable practices in facilities management and procurement

What You Need To Be Successful

  • 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or facilities management
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
  • A proven track record in vendor management and contract negotiation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a focus on team development
  • Proficiency in procurement and contract management related software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Procurement analytics, lease / buy analysis, planning, supply chain or other relevant experience
  • Strong familiarity with ERP, Purchasing, Accounting and A/P software modules and related reports
  • Oracle (NetSuite) experience is an asset
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCMP) is preferred
