Summary

This is a full-time live-in position that assists with the daily operations and surrounding grounds at the residential building. Reporting to the Building Manager, the Assistant Building Manager will have onsite support from our friendly and dedicated in-house property management, maintenance, and landscape team.

Duties

Working Thursday to Monday (with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off), the Assistant Building Manager is one of the first onsite points of contact with residents. As such, customer service and attending to residents’ questions and concerns is top priority. The Assistant Building Manager plays a critical role in completing minor in suite repairs, cleaning common areas and vacant units, and conducting daily grounds/log checks. As a part of a passionate and courteous team who has tenant needs front and center, you will participate in on-call hours in the evenings and on weekends on a rotating schedule.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, previous experience with minor repairs, cleaning, maintaining residential buildings, courteous manners with the public, and proficient spoken and written English are required. Knowledge of residential building management and Residential Tenancies Act in Ontario is an asset. You will need to be comfortable using a smartphone and computer. As a part of your hiring package, we will be required to complete a criminal background check.
