Responsibilities
Purpose of Role: Western University has one of the best athletic programs in the country and this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Western Mustangs team. As part of the team, you will assist with streaming all Mustangs sports, special events, and convocation ceremonies on Mustangs TV and local television networks. If you are interested in sports and video production, then this role will provide you with hands-on work experience in all areas of TV production.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, edit and produce video footage to create compelling stories and engaging videos
- Provide assistance as needed in all components of production, including sound, lighting, camera, editing and postproduction.
- Perform other duties as requested to ensure all necessary tasks are performed in a proficient manner
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Team oriented with the ability to work well with others
- Video editing experience an asset
- Independent decision making and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of intercollegiate athletics
Minimum Qualifications:
- First Aid and CPR Certification
- Must have a flexible schedule and be able to workdays, nights and weekends
Experience:
- No experience required, training is provided
