Bayshore is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Continuing Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management.
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events.
- Administer personal care services as per care plan directives.
- Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to their needs.
- Perform specialized procedures with training and competency.
- Observe and document client conditions; report any changes to the Supervisor or Office.
- Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices.

Job Qualification
Requirements:
- Completion of accredited CCA program or equivalent education.
- Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service.
- Communication skills in English; French proficiency is an asset.
- Current knowledge of community care practices.
- Physical ability to assist clients and lift weights up to 23 kg.
- Reliable transportation; driver's license and automobile required.
- Clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
