Permacon, a CRH Company, is a leader and pioneer in the manufacturing of concrete masonry and landscaping products. Permacon is a division of _Oldcastle APG_ and operates 9 plants in Ontario and Quebec.

We are currently looking for **Machine/Forklift Operators** at our newly equipped **Milton Plant**.

Salary: 23.80$/h – 26.80$/h

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Be safety oriented;
• Load, unload, sort, check, move, wrap, package, store and/or pile different products, material, raw material (pallets, skids, plates, blocks, paves);
• Operate various automated production equipment;
• Complete quality and production duties following the quality manual;
• Set-up product changes;
• Optimize cycle time of machines;
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment;
• Performs all other related tasks requested by his superior.
  
  

**Qualifications and requirements**

• High school diploma
• Forklift Licence
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Team work oriented, initiative; responsible, able to react, to be precise; methodical
• Organized, must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines, people and under immediate supervision
• Use of Microsoft Word & Excel an asset
• Must be able to learn quickly and have capacity to safely physically handle weight up to 20kg
• Must be able to react efficiently and to operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Must have an excellent attendance record
