We are seeking a dedicated and professional Lawyer to join a dynamic team or lawyers. The ideal candidate will be a member of the Law Society of Alberta with litigation experience, preferably in any two of Family, Criminal, or Civil Law. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is committed to delivering high-quality legal services while fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

- Provide timely, high-quality legal services to clients.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, updating them on the progress of their case and explaining the plan to resolve the matter, whether through litigation or Alternative Dispute Resolution processes.
- Demonstrate excellent client management skills, ensuring clients are satisfied with services provided.
- Develop, implement, and revise a cohesive plan for each client matter, ensuring it aligns with client expectations and needs.
- Meet or exceed deadlines while adhering to the firm's standards and systems.
- Ensure client expectations are set appropriately and are consistently met or exceeded.
- Provide regular and real-time updates to clients, responding to inquiries within one business day.
- Maintain professionalism in all aspects of legal practice and foster positive relationships with clients, colleagues, and support staff.
- Continuously improve the firm's systems, suggesting enhancements when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
- Membership with the Law Society of Alberta (required).
- At least 1 year of experience in family law (required).
- Litigation experience in either Family, Criminal, or Civil Law is an asset.
- Strong client management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Competitive compensation with a fee split of 40% of all fees billed.
- Shared legal assistant support.
- On-site parking provided.
- Coverage of Law Society of Alberta fees and Professional Liability Insurance after a 6-month probationary period.
- Monday to Friday, full-time.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Edmonton, AB is required.
