Your Role

This Data Analyst & BI Specialist role provides data and analytical support to corporate and site marketing leaders. The specialist will retrieve and analyze data to support the planning and execution of initiatives. They will also develop business intelligence reports, dashboards, and KPIs, offering insights to guide marketing strategies.

What You Bring

• 2+ years of analytical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Undergraduate degree in Statistics, Business Analysis, Data Science, Mathematics, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Able to take and pass a practical test on data extraction (SQL), data manipulation (R), and analysis.
• Strong analytical and programming skills, including data manipulation, statistical analytics, and visualization.
• Demonstrated proficiency in working with large datasets and producing data-driven insights.
• Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Proficient in statistical language R and familiar with packages like tidyverse, dplyr, ggplot, and lubridate.
• Experience in BI development using Tableau.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups.
• Knowledge of project-oriented workflow in RStudio and collaboration tools (Git and Github) preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Willingness to learn and master new skills quickly.
• Understanding of casino and/or hospitality environments is optional.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the corporate marketing team in developing and executing direct marketing projects to achieve company objectives.
• Provide reporting and analysis to support strategic business decisions.
• Examine marketing promotions to improve ROI, customer engagement, and retention.
• Analyze customer behavior and recommend changes to marketing offers and promotions.
• Distill large amounts of data into actionable recommendations and presentations.
• Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify relationships, patterns, or trends.
• Drive innovative approaches to marketing analysis and data-driven decision making.
• Perform other duties as required.
