We are looking for a Carpenter to join our manufacturing facility in Kamloops. Under the direction and leadership of the Lead Hand, the Carpenter is responsible for the assembly of modular units and other modular building components, ensuring work tasks are performed following safety procedures and company policies while ensuring a high level of quality and timeliness.
In this position, you also get to assist in the assembly of modular building components, including floors, walls, and roofs

We are looking for a Carpenter to join our manufacturing facility in Kamloops. Under the direction and leadership of the Lead Hand, the Carpenter is responsible for the assembly of modular units and other modular building components, ensuring work tasks are performed following safety procedures and company policies while ensuring a high level of quality and timeliness.
In this position, you also get to assist in the assembly of modular building components, including floors, walls, and roofs
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of sheeting materials, including subfloors, wall sheeting, and roofing sheeting using various materials
- Assist in the assembly of doors, windows, trim, and millwork, including the hardware and painting
- Gather material needed for assembly of units, Installation of small finishing items
- Pre-assembly of components, read and interpret blueprints
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Other duties as assigned
- A team player and a safe worker, who can safely handle materials and operate hand and power tools
- Residential carpentry experience with basic communication skills.
- Previous experience with the assembly of modular units is considered an asset
- Ability to lift 55lbs unassisted and 35lbs overhead
- Capability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time Capability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time
- Hourly rate $23 - $33 and benefits
