As part of the Monex SAB de CV financial group, we support over 70,200 clients worldwide, offering local expertise in various regions including the UK, Luxembourg, Canada, and Singapore. Our goal is to empower clients to make better-informed business decisions in a fast-moving and volatile market.
Department Overview
The Compliance Department is responsible for ensuring the firm operates in compliance with its regulatory obligations and has systems and controls for the prevention of financial crime.
Accordingly, The Department Is Split Into These Two Functions
The Senior Compliance Analyst (SCA) plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to compliance, anti-money laundering, and regulatory requirements. The SCA provides advice and guidance on compliance matters, while actively contributing to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and internal controls.
They perform in-depth KYC assessments, produce detailed reports, and collaborate with various teams to address compliance-related requests. Additionally, the SCA supports training initiatives, stays updated on regulatory developments, and assists in the implementation of technology and data systems to streamline daily tasks.

The Compliance Department is responsible for ensuring the firm operates in compliance with its regulatory obligations and has systems and controls for the prevention of financial crime.
Accordingly, The Department Is Split Into These Two Functions
- Regulatory compliance provides relevant advice to the business and undertakes arms-length monitoring, acting in the capacity of a second line of defence unit.
- On the other hand the financial crime team undertakes the due diligence process for all client on-boarding and screening, monitors payments, and carries out periodic screening and KYC reviews.
The Senior Compliance Analyst (SCA) plays a critical role in ensuring adherence to compliance, anti-money laundering, and regulatory requirements. The SCA provides advice and guidance on compliance matters, while actively contributing to the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and internal controls.
They perform in-depth KYC assessments, produce detailed reports, and collaborate with various teams to address compliance-related requests. Additionally, the SCA supports training initiatives, stays updated on regulatory developments, and assists in the implementation of technology and data systems to streamline daily tasks.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial crime exposure to Global/Canadian Financial Crime and regulatory compliance projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering Financial Crime / Compliance projects.
- Able to demonstrate experience in managing AML/Financial Crime issues across jurisdictions and multiple legal entities.
- Strong understanding of international regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in financial crime prevention and compliance.
