ABOUT YOU:

As a Mid-level Scrum Master at Tribute Technology, you'll play a pivotal role in fostering high-performing software teams and driving the effective implementation of Scrum methodology within the organization. Your responsibilities will include coaching, addressing impediments, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Agile practices.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Facilitate all the scrum ceremonies including Sprint planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective, and refinement meetings as well.
  • Ensure tickets meet the definition of ready and definition of done.
  • Assist the product owner with measuring and stabilizing the team’s velocity and translate it into accurate roadmap timelines.
  • Report the team’s performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement in the commitment accuracy and throughput.
  • Provide guidance on metrics gathering and coordinate metrics sharing with leadership.
  • Support the advancement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum best practices, and guidelines.
  • Help the team members to remove impediments that are preventing them from meeting the sprint commitments.
  • Ensure and improve overall team health through engaging team activities.


REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Scrum role within software development teams. Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence team outcomes.
  • Expertise with Agile methodologies and development tracking software (e.g., Jira).
  • Passion for understanding individual, team, and inter-departmental working dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and convey technical information effectively.
  • Experience in conducting Scrum ceremonies.
  • Experience in working with distributed or remote teams.
  • Knowledge of additional Agile frameworks such as Kanban


PREFFERED SKILLS:

  • Experience in coaching and mentoring team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
