Personal Support Worker

Bayshore is an eligible employer supporting Health Force Ontario Funding program for PSW Graduates and Students. PSW Students completing their clinical placement with Bayshore may be eligible for $5,440, PSW Graduates committing to 1 year of employment with Bayshore eligible for $10,000. Bayshore also support relocation incentives for eligible PSW Graduates.

Wage: $24.14 per hour. Guaranteed 70-hour bi-weekly contract. Additional shift premiums as applicable.

Area of Work: Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry or Russell & Prescott County. Travel Required.

Hours of work: Days and Evenings & every 2nd Weekend. (2-week rotation of 8am-6pm, 2-week rotation of 12:30pm-9pm)

Travel Reimbursement: 0.62/km

Education

Personal Support Worker diploma or equivalent (evidence required)

Attributes

• Excellent communication skill with fluency in written and spoken English
• French proficiency required for positions located within Quebec or where French language is a service requirement
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
  
  

Successful candidates who are offered a position will be required to provide:

• 2 supervisory references,
• A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening
• Proof of being negative for TB.
