What You’ll Do:

As a Technical Project Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting the technical team in the development and implementation of work scopes from estimates, prepare work packs, and coordinate with clients to ensure logistics of materials and labour are completed as per Company and client expectations. This position will be a liaison between onsite personnel and the client, to ensure that project requirements are being met and reported on.

Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Develop estimates and work scopes for projects involving cranes, including hydraulic and mechanical components;
  • Prepare and manage work packs related to crane maintenance, upgrades, and installations;
  • Coordinate projects focused on crane systems from quotation to turnover, meeting all contract requirements;
  • Review technical drawings, with a focus on crane systems, to identify project needs;
  • Ensure adherence to technical standards for crane hydraulics, mechanical components, and structural integrity;
  • Collaborate with Operations teams across all PHS locations to support crane-related operations;
  • Source materials for crane systems, working with the Procurement team to issue purchase orders;
  • Generate client reports and provide updates on crane-focused project milestones;
  • Maintain document control and quality standards for crane systems and related equipment.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Engineering Team and report directly to the Engineering Lead, helping drive innovation and excellence in project development.

What We're Looking For:

We’re particularly seeking candidates with strong skills and experience in crane systems—especially hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and structural components. Previous hands-on work with cranes in a technical or project capacity is a major asset.

Additionally, you'll bring:

  • Experience in crane hydraulics, mechanical components, and crane maintenance procedures;
  • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology;
  • Strong technical and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail and safety;
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic and mechanical crane systems;
  • Familiarity with industry and CLASS standards (CSA, DnV, ABS, LR), particularly as they apply to cranes;
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work independently when required;
  • Commitment to safe work practices and ISO 9001:2015 QA/QC processes;
  • Proficiency in DraftSight (2D and 3D) and SolidWorks would be an asset.
